The Center aims to advance the coordinated development across four key domains: promoting academic research in China's tourism informatization sector, supporting public tourism information services, facilitating the upgrading of traditional tourism industries, and cultivating specialized talent in tourism informatization. As a collaborative innovation platform for professional tourism big data in China, this integrated big data platform consolidates diverse tourism information and resources, opening access to domestic and international stakeholders as well as the industry. It actively responds to the National Tourism Administration's “Smart Tourism” policy direction, accelerating the pace of transformation and upgrading within China's tourism industry.
